Our Vision:

To empower the youth of FMBC with the knowledge and truth of Christ, so they will be able to reach and inspire other youth to change their homes, schools, community and this city from the inside out!

In order to be a more effective ministry and to better meet the needs of the youth we serve, the face of Youth Ministry, as we have know has changed. We are now the First Missionary Baptist Church Student Ministries. Our name has changed, however, the vision and mission remains the same.

We are still ONE Ministry with FOUR age divisions.  All students will work together throughout the year on various outreach, evangelism and ministry projects.  Check back for announcements concerning various youth events.  Feel free to contact any of the Student Ministry Advisors of FMBC.

Young Women’s Discipleship Group
“Growing More Like Jesus”
Sister 2 Sister

Sister 2 Sister Discipleship Group is designed for girls in 7th to 12th grade. Our purpose is to help young ladies deal with the pressures of growing up while learning to cultivate the fruit of the Spirit in their lives so they can reflect the glory of God and beauty of Jesus Christ.  The goal of Sister 2 Sister is to aide young ladies in their spiritual, social and academic development.

Student Ministries

The Students Ministries of FMBC are committed to training and equipping our youth. The purpose of Children’s Church is to present the Word of God on a level that is easily understood by our youth. It allows them to praise and worship God their way as well as to train them in church etiquette. All 1^st to 5^th grade students are welcome. Children’s Church is held every Sunday (except) 4^th in the Fellowship Hall during the 8:00 and 11:00 Worship Experiences.

****Beginning June 18^th Children’s Church will go to our summer schedule. There will be one service beginning at 9:30 am.
