Deacons
The Deacons
Ministry serves the congregation as a liaison to the Pastor. Each
member of the First Missionary Baptist Church is assigned a
Deacon, who is available to them for comfort, advice, prayer,
fellowship and friendship. Deacons are always available to
members who need their assistance.

Deaconess
The
Deaconess Ministry assists the Pastor and Deacons in carrying out
the church ordinances. They
also help to promote and
maintain the spiritual
climate throughout the
congregation and
providing comfort to
those in need. Please feel free to call on this ministry anytime
that your family is in need of friendship, fellowship, prayer,
advice or comfort.

The duty of
the Trustee is to oversee the church building and its continued

Audio Visual
This ministry includes our
audio/visual and media
projection services.
Bro. Kidd is assisted by
Sis. Anna Nichols
(media projection), to
ensure the “Word of God”
is delivered with
clarity to the
congregation. This
ministry provides audio
tapes and CD’s of each
service held at the
First Missionary Baptist
Church .

Prayer Partners
The Prayer Partners Ministry strives
to meet the needs of the
congregation through
intercessory prayer.
The ministry honors
special prayer requests
from members of the Body
of Christ and
shares Praise Reports.
The members of the
Prayer Partners Ministry
are committed to
disciple, encourage,
self-evaluate and
promote opportunities to
serve others.
Ushers/Greeters
This ministry strives to meet the needs of the Pastor
and congregation by greeting those members and visitors entering
the sanctuary for worship. The aim is to ensure that individuals
are seated comfortably and that the services flow ‘decently and in

This ministry strives to allow
members of the
congregation to fulfill
the Scripture as stated
in I Peter 4:10; “each
one should use whatever
gift he has received to
serve others, faithfully
administering God’s
grace in its various
forms.” Original

presented throughout the
year.

Music Ministry
The Music Ministry is
comprised of the
following choirs:
Unity Choir -
Brings all our music
Ministry members
together all ages to
lift the name of Jesus
in song. The Unity Choir
renders their service in
song on the 1st
& 2nd Sunday
of each month.
Schedule:
Rehearsals are on
Tuesday before the 1st
& 2nd Sunday
at 7:00 p.m.
Additional rehearsals
may be announced as
well.

Male Chorus – This choir consists of any male
member in the church ages 13 and up. The Male Chorus renders
its service in song on the 3rd & 5th Sunday of each
month.
Schedule:
Rehearsals are scheduled for Thursday before the 3rd
and 5th Sunday.

J.U.D.A.H. - This choir is comprised of youth ages
4 & up… They render their service in song on the 4th
Sunday.
Schedule: Rehearsals are each Mon., Tuesday & Thursday before the
4th Sunday.
Adult Praise Team -
Open to all ages.
Schedule:
Rehearsals are
each Tuesday & Thursday @ 6:00 p.m. weekly except for the 3rd
Tuesday.
Musicians Ministry

Nurses Guild
This
ministry consists of RN’s and LPN’s who are available during
worship services as needed. The Ministry also coordinates
services for the congregation and the community such as Health
Fairs, Health Screenings and Seminars.
